Salute 1st, LLC was created with one mission in mind: To effectively impact men from all walks of life by challenging their current perspectives and belief systems in our pursuit to build men of good character who possess the necessary critical thinking skills and emotional mastery conducive to a successful lifestyle.
We approach manhood and spirituality from a fresh, gritty, and current perspective that is in sync, and in tune with the state of the current culture. Whereas other programs are dated and unrelatable to the audience we are trying to reach, our 24-lesson curriculum, housed in a state-of-the-art learning management system, provides video and contextual lessons, critical thinking assignments and comprehensive quizzes available 24x7 for continuous learning on any desktop, smartphone or mobile device.

Prison REFORM
Giving men the tools for change and growth
What began as regular in-prison visits with one inmate gradually evolved into reaching hundreds of men with the E1 Leadership Development Program. We get as much joy and soul satisfaction out of these sessions as the men do. By creating a safe space for men to re-discover their true selves, mindsets, lives and characters are being renewed. Our partnerships with prison administrators and business alliances allows Salute 1st to reach men...wherever they are. We salute the dedication and consistency incarcerated males demonstrate when they become a part of the E1 Program.
Youth DEVELOPMENT
Giving young males the mentoring and character-building training they need.
We recognize that to close the cycle of destruction and hopelessness, it is equally important to reach male adolescents who, for a myriad of reasons, also feel disconnected from society.
Disconnected young adults are 2x as likely to live in poverty. They are 3x more likely to have a disability and 9x more likely to not complete high school. Compared to their peers, they are more likely to become young parents at an early age.
Our mission is to reach as many youth as possible, giving them a safe, non-judgmental space where they can discuss their challenges, while learning new coping and behavioral skills.
We salute the leadership at St. James Parish Schools in Louisiana for not only recognizing what their students need but for leading the way by making our program part of their school's daily curriculum.
